I tried so much for my back acne growing up and the only thing that stopped it was 10% Benzoyl Peroxide wash, it’s antimicrobial/antibacterial properties combat fungal acne and inflammatory acne, while also preventing it from spreading further. Leave on treatments are not ideal because of the way your clothes will trap the moisture from the products along with sweat on your skin, similar to the way a mask works to trap bacteria along your jaw often causing breakouts. I use Panoxyl, you can buy at target or any drug store for like $10 and comes in a cream wash!! If 10% BP is too strong, they also have 4% benzoyl peroxide!
