7 Hydrating Lip Products for Dry and Crusty Lips

The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a product I’ve used for years. No matter what other product I use, I always return to this one! They have multiple scents like Berry, Gummy Bear, Vanilla, Sweet Candy, and their newest scent, mango! Although all of their scents are beautiful, the Berry is my favorite! The texture of this mask is incredibly soft, and it melts into the lips beautifully to leave them super nourished and hydrated in the morning. I like to apply a very thick layer before bed so that the mask remains intact as I sleep the night away. I love how my lips stay protected, moist, and soft by the morning!

If you need a product similar to the Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask but a more convenient version, this is the product for you! Besides the delicious scents to select from (such as Berry, Gummy Bear, Grapefruit, and Peach), I’d turn to these balms for days that I don’t use a colored lip product. Because lip masks require dipping your finger into the pot, they’re not ideal for traveling, so these glowy balms are the perfect alternative! They are easy to use and provide hydration with one swipe, so I’d rate the size and portability of this product a perfect ten out of ten!

Another Laneige lip product? Trust me, Laneige knows what they’re doing! This Lip Treatment Balm has a fruity and coconut-y scent and sleek packaging with a built-in applicator. I’d say the overall packaging of this product is more pristine compared to its fun lip mask counterparts. The balm may give your lips a brief tingling sensation (to give a slight plumping effect), but it’s nothing unbearable! For those looking for a luxurious lip treatment experience, this is perfect!

This is perfect for those who prefer a hydrating yet plumping lip product! The cherry vanilla scent is exactly as described and the texture is slightly thick but spreadable and extremely smooth. It leaves my lips feeling plump, juicy, and moisturized! Although the product is great, the scent is honestly what makes me come back to this since it brings me back to the Lip Smacker days, a classic scent that can do no wrong!

The Naturium lip balms are one of my favorite on-the-go lip balms. The metal applicator makes the application experience luxurious and keeps my lips feeling cool! There are also multiple color options, and the colored lip balms are so nicely pigmented. Overall, this is probably one of my favorite drugstore lip balms!

The Alpyn Beauty Lip Mask is another plumping lip product. However, I enjoy using the Alpyn Beauty one when I want to scrub my lips. I apply an extremely thick layer on my lips, leave it on for about twenty minutes, get a damp paper towel or muslin cloth and rub in circular motions. Afterward, my lips are super smooth and soft! It’s formulated with Sweet Blue Agave Leaf, Hyaluronic Acid, and Jackson Hole Willow Bark, so it’s the perfect hydrating-and-exfoliating-in-one lip product!

This luxurious lip serum from Dior is the perfect product to prep your lips before a balm or mask. It does leave a tingly and minty feeling upon application, but it plumps up your lips and leaves a smooth and almost wrinkle-free look. Afterward, I layer on a generous lip balm or mask coat for more hydration! The applicator for this product is also extremely unique; it’s almost fur-like, which allows for an even and thin distribution of the product.
