Due to it being a high-dose retinol, it is super effective (not that you only need high percentages of actives for it to be helpful, but it helped for this product!). It helped fade my hyperpigmentation quickly and helped with the bumpy texture I had on my forehead. But, I would say this is not a product for beginners. I recommend this for those used to retinol!
