From all my experiences with over two dozen shampoo products throughout my life, never have I ever seen such a drastic change after a single wash as I have seen with Sachajuan. The Experience
When I first read about Sachajuan’s brand philosophy and their your-hair-but-better approach, I couldn’t wait to learn more about their products. After reading through their product descriptions, I felt reassured that most products are free from parabens, and I opted to try out the Ocean Mist Volume Shampoo.
Whenever I get a new bottle of shampoo, the first thing I do is smell it! And this definitely passed the smell test for me. I love it when my hair smells good and can verify that the fresh scent of this shampoo stays for nearly 2 days. Normally, if I don’t wash my hair for 2 days, it starts to get oily and droopy but this wasn’t the case at all. My hair stayed clean and was visibly shinier, many of my friends even asked me what I did with my hair! I was quite impressed by this because it really cleansed my scalp with just one wash. Of course, this might not be the case with everyone, since it also depends on your hair type. I have thin-medium hair and using this product definitely helped with my hair volume.
I also tried Sachajuan’s Scalp Shampoo but the Ocean Shampoo is my absolute favorite because it has all the benefits of the Scalp Shampoo with an added freshness of ocean beach waves and amazing scent. It leaves your hair clean with a nice bounce, and not to mention how aesthetic it looks on your bathroom shelf!

As you can tell, I’m a huge fan! I love the smell and how it leaves my hair feeling super clean. I finish off with the Ocean Mist Volume Conditioner and it makes me feel like I went to a salon and got my hair done but at home. I also noticed that my hair became thicker and healthier!

The story of Sachajuan started in 1997 when two established hairstylists, Sacha Mitic and Juan Rosenlind, founded their salon in central Sweden. Later in 2004, they launched their professional hair care products under the brand, Sachajuan. Their brand philosophy is based on making hair care and styling more effortless and uncomplicated. In an interview, when asked about his beauty philosophy, Sacha answered, “My beauty philosophy is that everyone can be beautiful. If you can make Charlize Theron look like a monster in the film “Monster,” you can make a monster look like Charlize Theron.” He also said he prefers to look at problems positively since there’s always something we can learn from it.
