Review: “I only buy boots with zippers on the side, even though Chelsea boots are more convenient to step right in. The typical U-Shaped elastic panels on either side put me off since it’s a huge chunk of material that’s different from the rest of the shoe, and I just don’t find that to be aesthetically pleasing. Until I broke my only pair of black boots… I was shopping at Madewell and saw these boots with super well-designed elastic panels on either side, so it doesn’t feel like it’s just a huge chunk of elastic slapped on.
