2019 Fel: “I truly love this because of the minty feeling and how refreshing it feels! It invigorates and wakes you up. It’s gentle enough to use in the day and at night.”
2021 Fel: “Although I liked it to rebalance my oily skin, I think it was a little too empowering. At first, I liked the minty-ness, then I got over the minty-ness.”

2019 Fel: “It’s really gentle; it smells really good. It’s pasty… like mochi! Good for sensitive skin.”
2019 Ro: “It’s far more gentle than physical exfoliants. I’ve been loving the whole rice [idea] in your skincare routine.”
2021 Fel: “This has stayed within our skincare arsenal for the longest time, and only recently did [Ro] throw it out. It was the new age of physical exfoliants at the time.”
Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser
2019 Ro: “This is what I’ve been using for a long, long time now…just the one I gravitate towards the most because it’s so gentle, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.”
2021 Ro: “Do I still love this cleanser? 20/10! Have I been using it? 0/10. Purely because I haven’t restocked. I just want to try new products.”

2019 Ro: “This one I saw in Liah Yoo’s video, and when she recommended it…I was like, ‘I must try it!’ And I like how you can spray it, so you can layer if you need more.”
2021 Ro: “This is still one of my holy grails! I just haven’t been using it as much, purely because I ran out.”

2019 Fel: ” I actually really like this because not many products have just mandelic acid. I find it’s pretty gentle.”
2021 Fel: “Do I still use it? Yes! Mandelic acid is so great as a sensitive skin chemical exfoliant. 5% is more than enough for everyday use to give you that subtle buffing of the skin.”
2019 Ro: “This has quickly become one of my favorites!”
2019 Fel: “It’s so hydrating! When I use this, all I need after cleansing is to tone and then moisturize.”
2021 Ro: “It’s still one of my favorite toners, but I just haven’t used it at all. But I will go back to it if my skin is freaking out…just because it’s so so so reliable.”
2021 Fel: “It has these skin-healing properties that no other product really highlights. So it’s very unique, and it is the go-to.”
2019 Fel: “I’m not too crazy [about this one.] But it’s really going to help with the pores because salicylic acid is a BHA that goes deep into the pores to get out the sebum.”
2021 Fel: “This has been loved thoughout the years and will continue to be loved.”
2021 Ro: “I think I’m gonna start loving it because I’m getting into BHAs now too.”
Serums
2019 Ro: “When I used this for two weeks straight, [my freckles and sunspots] lightened. My skin looked visibly brighter and not as dull.”
2021 Ro: “I just recently tossed [this] because I’ve had it for almost three years at this point, and I just haven’t really used it all. It didn’t do as much as a chemical exfoliant would to help with my freckling. For this, I had higher hopes.”

2019 Fel: ” The reason why I really like this is because it’s not greasy. It just sinks in so quickly. It’s simple. It’s moisturizing and hydrating. I don’t have to think about anything else. And it’s got all the good stuff.”
2021 Fel: “Do we still use this now? Big yes!”
2021 Ro: “We also didn’t appreciate it as much before because we didn’t understand how much went into formulating something like this and all the technology.”
2019 Ro: ” This is all I’ve been using for a long time. Smells very fresh! And I just like that there are two hyaluronic acids.”
2021 Ro: “This one, I really loved and used half a bottle within a couple of months. I think there just came a point in time where the smell became a bit much.”
2019 Fel: “I really love this brand; it’s very hydrating! I feel like this one is a no-brainer. You can use it every day. You can use it in the morning, use it at night whenever you just need a serum to hydrate.”
2021 Fel: “I really loved the aesthetic of the brand. This worked…the scent was refreshing, but then it got a little too much.”
Moisturizers
Mamonde Moisture Ceramide Intense Cream
2019 Ro: “It’s just so thick, so rich, so creamy, so nourishing, so hydrating – all the words that you can think of for a moisturizer. I just put it on, and I’m like, “Yes, I can go to bed happy!”
2021 Ro: This was around the same time I discovered my love for Purito Deep Sea Water Cream. So I was like, ‘Begone!’ to everything else. As much as I love this cream, it was one of the more forgettable ones after I stopped using it…didn’t love it enough for me to go back to it.”
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer
2019 Ro: “This has hyaluronic acid, which I feel is really good. And the texture of this is really good for a summer gel. This [plus Mamaonde] is like a match made in heaven.”
2021 Ro: “Love this! Still love this! Have not been using it as much.”
2019 Ro: “It’s so nice that I actually don’t want to use it ’cause I want to save it!”
2019 Fel: “It creates this veil of smoothness on your skin that is indescribable, so intensely hydrating. I’ve never come across a moisturizer like this one.”
2021 Fel: “Would I still use this? Yes, but it’s just the price point.”
Allies of Skin Promise Keeper Blemish Facial
2019 Fel: “When I first started using this, there was slight purging, which makes me very confused whether it’s actually breaking out from the product or purging. It’s a little pricey.”
2021 Fel: “After using it, loved the consistency. But looking into the ingredients was what sold me! With hormonal acne, it did help to alleviate the symptoms because of the anti-inflammatory properties. But I just never went and bought it myself again.”
