1Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water All-in-1 Cleansing and Makeup Remover

What is it: An all-in-1 cleanser & makeup remover that’s fragrance, paraben, alcohol, and oil-free.

Review: “Before discovering this product, I used to go crazy with the makeup wipes (yeah, I know). I wasn’t ready to try cleansing balms just yet, so when my sister let me try this micellar water for the first time, I just knew I had to get one for myself! Fast forward to now, and I actually lost count of how many bottles I’ve used up! The last time I recall, it’s probably my third or fourth bottle. I love how gentle it feels and the way it effortlessly takes off my makeup and any icky debris at the end of the day. I also enjoy having this as a part of my morning routine whenever I want to freshen up my skin. But the best part is that it doesn’t sting my eyes! I say this for myself and my fellow sensitive skin types out there – this one’s definitely a keeper!” — Isabel, Beauty Editor

2 La Roche Posay Double Repair Face Moisturizer

What is it: A lightweight and oil-free face moisturizer for sensitive skin

Review: “This is a product that I purchased three times and already used up! I decided to buy this product because of the benefits I found with thermal water from another brand. This was when my skin was sensitized and red back then, so when I discovered La Roche Posay also uses thermal water, I decided to give the brand a try. And let me tell you, I love all the ingredients used for this moisturizer! They’re very calming, soothing, and hydrating for my skin while giving it a matte finish and leaving my skin feeling super comfortable! I think this is perfect for oily skin, especially during the colder winter months! I came to this conclusion because a few days ago when I cut the tube bottle open and used up the last of it, I noticed it made my skin pill, which I didn’t notice when applying during the winter. So for the time being, I’ll save it for the upcoming winter season.” — Jane, Video Editor

3Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream

What is it: Lightweight eye cream that nourishes the eye area

Review: “I actually forgot how I came across this product, but I know it was influenced and mentioned by Beauty Within. I was looking for a reliable eye cream since I want to hydrate the eye area (and lowkey start taking some early preventative measures) and decided to purchase the small size to try out. I can say I’m very impressed! The texture is a smooth light cream that goes on easily and absorbs so quickly, which I really appreciate! I love using it for my night routine as a way to unwind before sleeping and take some time to massage it in. I actually keep the eye cream chilled in my skincare fridge so I can give my eyes a small depuffing session while massaging the cream in.” — Lucy, Motion Graphics Animator

4Laneige Cream Skin Refiner

What is it: Hybrid toner and moisturizer that hydrates and nourishes the skin in one step

Review: “I first discovered this from the Beauty Within shop and decided to give it a try. First, I was curious about it since it’s called a toner and moisturizer, so I wondered how it could be both! But once I bought it and tried it on, I was surprised to find that it had a fascinating milky texture! Usually, the toners I used before are more watery and liquid-like, so this is definitely a different experience! And as a quick note, even though the skin refiner is supposed to be a moisturizer and toner in one, I still like to follow up with an actual moisturizer – the Make P: Rem Safe Me Relief Cream. I found that the cream is also very nice and moisturizes nicely without being too greasy and suffocating or too lightweight and watery. It’s perfect!” — Casey, Beauty Within Shop‘s Warehouse Manager

5 Fresh Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence

What is it: Anti-pollution treatment essence that’s rich in antioxidants due to black tea kombucha

Review: “I like to use this essence in my morning routine in place of my toner step. I find that because this essence absorbs really quickly, I don’t need to take time to wait in between steps, and I can save time so I can make it to the office in time. Now that I’ve been using this for 1-2 weeks, I can notice a huge improvement in my skin! My skin is a lot plumper, and it’s now glowing and radiant!

I’ve enjoyed this essence so much that I also recommended this product to my boyfriend’s mom, who was suffering from dry skin since arriving in New York. I mailed her the product as a gift, and she told me: “Oh my god! It’s so hydrating!” I was happy to hear that her dry skin improved after using the essence and actually stayed hydrated and glowing throughout the day! Later, I found out that she recommended the product to her friends and even purchased the largest size during the Sephora Sale!” — Tracy, Graphic Designer

6Farmacy Honey Halo Ceramide Moisturizer

What is it: Buttery textured moisturizer that nourishes & protects skin

Review: “The moment I saw that Farmacy released this moisturizer last year, I knew I had to get my hands on it! Since its launch last September, this girl already went through two glass jars for her oily-combo and sensitive skin – which is actually saying something cause I always love trying new products and haven’t gone back to the same moisturizer back to back. But during the chaotic weather that happened over the winter in NYC, this moisturizer was my saving grace during the winter and spring seasons. This was also when my really oily skin went drier and even stiff and tight, so it single-handedly saved my skin. Everything about this moisturizer is beautiful – from the gorgeous frosted glass jar packaging to the deliciously buttery texture, to the blanket-like feel over my face, and the delectable honey scent! Now that the weather is hotter, I’ll be putting a pause on this moisturizer, but I’m sure I’ll come back to invest in this year’s winter weather! These skincare empties are well worth the price!” — Deb, Beauty Editor + Video Editor

7Glow Recipe Banana Souffle Moisture Cream

What is it: A smooth and bouncy soufflé cream that hydrates & calms irritated skin

Review: “Last summer, I was running out of moisturizer, and it was too hot to go out and purchase another one. Plus, I was too busy to buy one, so I “borrowed” this moisture cream from the stack of skincare we have for emergency use. I was planning on returning it to purchase one of my own, but I kept forgetting, and the moisturizer felt really good for my skin. In the end, I accidentally finished the entire bottle. Also, who can say no to a souffle?” — Amber, Video Editor
